Jik Jik Chinese: a 104-dish menu that takes orders on WhatsApp.
A Chinese restaurant on Main PWD Road, Islamabad, open every day from noon to midnight. They had a long menu, a Google listing and a WhatsApp number. Now the menu is a website: people pick dishes and sizes, and the order lands on the restaurant's WhatsApp, written out.

What the site does
- The whole menu, 104 dishes in 16 categories, in Urdu and English on the same page.
- Dishes sold in sizes show every size and its price, so nobody has to ask.
- A cart. The order reaches the restaurant's WhatsApp as a written message: no app, no card, no commission.
- Only the owner's own photographs. 44 dishes have his pictures; the rest show a plain band rather than somebody else's food.
- The owner changes prices, dishes and photographs himself, from his phone, in Urdu or English.
Changes the owner asked for
The site changes when the restaurant does. In the first week:
- Their second branch closed, so it came off every page, the map and the search data the same day.
- His own WhatsApp number on every page.
- Categories in the order his customers read the menu: soups first, then fried items, lunch boxes and deals.
- Chowmein kept in both Medium and Large.
Measured
Lighthouse on a simulated mobile connection, median of three runs, 10 September 2026: accessibility 100, SEO 100, best practices 100, performance 79. A full 104-dish menu is heavy on a slow phone, and making it lighter is the next piece of work.
